Design of a new village to replace an existing village threatened by methane gas emissions.
The project, comprising 300 dwellings, primary school, village hall, miners’ welfare club, retail and community facilities involved detail consultations with both the community and other key stakeholder groups. Elderly and special needs accommodation featured prominently throughout this project.
